This notice explains how Günerden & Makro Sigorta processes personal data you share through this website and its forms, in line with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

Through our quote and contact forms we may process your name or company name, phone number, email address, the insurance category and product you are interested in, the details you write in the description field and any information contained in documents you choose to upload. Please avoid sharing personal data that is not needed for your request, particularly special categories of data such as health information.
Purposes
We use your personal data to assess your quote or information request, contact you, source and present suitable insurance options from insurers, keep records of your request and comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases
We process your personal data on the legal bases set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: where processing is directly related to entering into or performing a contract, where it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, and where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
How we collect data
Your personal data is collected electronically when you submit it directly through the forms on this website.
Transfers
To the extent necessary to handle your request, your personal data may be shared with insurers from whom quotes are obtained, public authorities legally entitled to receive it, and technical service providers we use for website hosting and form delivery. Where these providers’ servers are located outside Türkiye, transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in the KVKK.
Retention
We keep your personal data for as long as required for the purpose for which it was collected and for the periods prescribed by applicable legislation. It is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met; request that such actions be notified to third parties; object to an outcome against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
Making a request
You can send requests regarding your rights to us in writing at the address or email below. Requests are concluded as soon as possible depending on their nature, and at the latest within thirty days.
